Disciplinary Applications

Chapter 6 of this book has given the complete classification system of cost structures. Strictly speaking, disciplines should not be divided by traditional objects (physics, biology, economics, etc.), but reorganized by cost structure types (propagation transformation type, self-referential iteration type, spatial evolution type, etc.). The same cost dynamics grammar may simultaneously govern different domains previously considered to belong to "physics," "economics," and "political science"; and within the same traditional discipline, branches with completely different cost structures may coexist.

But this insight may be too unfamiliar for readers encountering perspective transformation theory for the first time. For ease of understanding, this chapter temporarily follows the reader's familiar disciplinary classification, annotates the cost structure type within each discipline, and lists the core theorems derived from the axioms. Readers may gradually become familiar with the thinking of cost structures during reading, and ultimately return to the classification system of Chapter 6, completing the perspective transformation from "classification by object" to "classification by cost structure."

Disciplinary Applications

Starting from the three axioms of the cognitive edition, perspective theory provides a unified underlying grammar for the following disciplinary domains. Each theorem can be traced back to the axioms, forming a complete derivation chain. This page reserves positions for theorems in each domain, which may be gradually supplemented according to the complete document.

⚖️ Ethics

The Good is not in behavior, but in the directedness of the perspective. The True, the Beautiful, and Love do not carry moral value. The moral law obtains a non-legalistic foundation.

App·Theorem NThe Four Outlines of EthicsSource: Cognitive Axiom Two

Freedom is the capacity for perspective transformation; morality lies in the direction of the perspective; responsibility lies in the cultivation of the perspective; behavior is the necessary extension of a fixated perspective.

App·Theorem NThe Unity of Creativity, Empathy, and WorshipSource: Cognitive Axiom Two

Creativity, empathy, and worship are all manifestations of love—the operation of the capacity for perspective transformation in different fields. Creativity is love pointing to the created order, empathy is love pointing to the other, worship is love pointing to God.

App·Theorem NTheorem of the Separation of the Beautiful and the GoodSource: Cognitive Theorems 11, 12

The Beautiful is the harmony within the perspective. The Beautiful itself has no direction—even the wicked can feel beauty. The objectivity of the Beautiful is grounded in the certainty of the perspective (the True), and the subjectivity of the Beautiful is grounded in the freedom of perspective transformation (Love).

🏛️ Political Economy

Power necessarily fixates; wealth and power transform into each other. Every institution needs Jubilee reset. Democratic legitimacy is disillusioned—choice is not the exercise of freedom.

App·Theorem NPower Fixation TheoremSource: Cognitive Axioms Two, Three

Power is the most intense perspective focus. Long-term holding of power necessarily fixates the perspective on "maintaining/expanding power." The necessary extension after fixation is corruption, autocracy, bureaucratization, detachment from the people. This is not a moral defect, but a cognitive-ontological law.

App·Theorem NWealth-Power Conversion TheoremSource: Cognitive Axioms Two, Three

Wealth and power are two medium channels of the same perspective dynamics. When wealth accumulates to a certain degree, the perspective necessarily turns from wealth to power, to preserve wealth; when power accumulates to a certain degree, the perspective necessarily turns to wealth, to perpetuate power.

App·Theorem NDemocratic Legitimacy Disillusionment TheoremSource: Cognitive Axiom Two

Democratic systems claim that their legitimacy is based on "the free choice of the people." By the cognitive theorem "freedom is not in choice," choice is the necessary extension of a fixated perspective, not the exercise of freedom. Therefore, the foundation of democratic legitimacy is a category error.

🔭 Philosophy of Science

Scientific laws are certainty within a perspective, not objectless objective truth. The uncertainty principle, entropy increase, Gödel's incompleteness—all are the cost of a medium touching a medium. A theory of everything cannot exist.

App·Theorem NEssence of Law TheoremSource: Cognitive Axiom One

Scientific laws are not "laws of the objective universe," but the stable tracking of the object's certainty response pattern by the subject under a specific medium and specific scale. Laws are certainty within a perspective, not objectless eternal truth.

App·Theorem NUncertainty Principle Explanation TheoremSource: Cognitive Axioms One, Three

The uncertainty principle of quantum mechanics is the precise expression of "observation is intervention" at the quantum scale. Uncertainty is not an ontological declaration that "the world is indeterminate," but the epistemological necessity that when a medium touches a medium, obtaining one kind of knowledge must pay the closing of another kind of knowledge as cost.

💻 Philosophy of Technology

Technology is the systematization of media extension, paying the triple cost of closure, relation, and accumulation. Technology replacing the body is the modern form of Gnosticism. Any technological system needs Jubilee reset.

App·Theorem NEssence of Technology TheoremSource: Cognitive Axioms One, Two, Three

Technology is not a neutral tool, not a simple extension of human capacity, but the systematization and accumulation of media extension after the fall. Technology is the material manifestation of accelerated extension within a distorted structure.

🧠 Psychology

Trauma is relational rupture when cost exceeds bearing capacity. Repair re-experiences transformation within a safe perspective. The five-step psychological counseling method provides a unified operational framework based on axioms for psychological diagnosis and treatment.

App·Theorem NPerspective-Theoretic Definition of TraumaSource: Cognitive Axiom Three

Trauma is not "what happened," but that the cost paid by a certain extension exceeded the bearing capacity of the psychological system, causing an irreversible rupture of a specific relational structure.

🏁 Boundary and Humility

Perspective theory does not address God's essence (the Holy can only be indicated), does not predict specific behavior (weak predictive power), and does not replace the research methods of specific disciplines. Each discipline has its legitimate medium.

Perspective theory itself is perspectival—it does not claim absolute truth, acknowledges it may be surpassed, and acknowledges its cost (strong explanatory power, weak predictive power). From the cognitive edition to the theological edition, the key is the Good. The Good is discovered in the ethical inquiry, pointing to the ultimate reality that cannot be spoken of but can be indicated.
